From a visit to Swiss Jaguar Experts GB Donni to Germany...

In the morning we got up and had a pleasant ride through the Swiss country side to visit our new friend Georg Donni and his business GB Donni Classics which is very similar to my own. A Jaguar parts, service, and restoration business. It was fun to see how they do it in Switzerland and to compare war stories about this type of business. Seems it is about the same the world over. From there we rode about two hours to a small town along a beautiful lake and took a short ferry ride to the other side and into Germany. It is amazing since the formation of the EU how easy it is to travel from country to country. No boarder crossing, no passports, etc...
Once in Germany we found ourselves in the southern wine region.  So what else could we do but ride a bit until we found a quaint hotel along the lake, check in, and go out for a traditional German dinner with some local wine.. Luckily the waitress was originally from South Africa and Australia and spoke perfect English because the menu was completely in German and we had no idea what to order!

Inside  GB Donni Classic Cars..

Our gracious host and new friends Georg and his lovely wife..
They took us out for this amazing lunch over looking a picture perfect Swiss country side even down to the cows wearing bells that gently rang in the back ground...

The owner of the restaurant was a major Jaguar enthusiast too and the walls were covered with Jaguar memorabilia...
What every shop needs, a spare Jaguar formula 1 car sitting in the rafters!

This is Duane's happy sign, at least one of them.. We are on the deck of a ferry crossing a beautiful lake in the warm early evening...

So after a long day it was time for some rest and relaxation...
And nothing relaxes like a German beer, by German standards this is a small...
The little village down by the lake where we stayed... picture perfect.
