More Progress on my 911 Gruppe R Car....
A Gruppe R Porsche is a 1973 or earlier 911 restored/modified for ultimate performance. There is no effort to make it original or matching numbers. The Gruppe R is only about going fast. This car started out as a 1971 911. It now has RSR flares, a 3.2 liter high performance motor and gearbox, big brakes, and performance suspension. This car is being built to be as light as possible and barely street legal. Basically a race car for the street. Here are some photos as I start to assemble it. Will post more as progress moves along..
